The Cosmos Education- Planetary Research is a host team whose research aims to study the processes of learning, teaching and training in the fields of mathematical sciences, material sciences (physics, chemistry) and natural sciences (biology, geology, geography).
As a research laboratory in science didactics, the Cosmos Education- Planetary Research seeks to shed light on the following questions: what knowledge is taught, should be taught? What teaching practices are associated with them? With what resources and for what effects? What activities (learning, in particular) do this knowledge, these practices engage in the pupils / students?
To answer these questions, Cosmos Education- Planetary Research researchers have at their disposal a specific theoretical and methodological arsenal but also borrow from related disciplines such as philosophy and history of science, psychology (in particular cognitive), sociology, ergonomics, anthropology.
